Kardos opens his first S1GP Hungarian Grand Prix with P16 in qualifying

Gergő Kardos finished 16th in practice and qualifying before being classified 18th after a noise-test penalty.

The opening day of the inaugural S1GP Hungarian Grand Prix featured two Free Practice sessions and Qualifying at Black Star Speedway Visonta. Gergő Kardos recorded 16th position in both practice sessions and qualified 16th in the premier class.

For rider #164, the event was his first appearance at World Championship level. Competing against experienced international Supermoto specialists meant adapting quickly to the track and the demands of the series.

His opening race was affected by a five-position penalty following a motorcycle noise-test issue. The official event report consequently listed him in 18th position.

Beyond the classification, the weekend offered important experience. Kardos approached the remaining races with a particular focus on making the most of his asphalt pace while learning to handle the off-road elements of S1GP.
