Born in 2005, Gergő Kardos developed an interest in motorcycle racing at an early age. He made his debut in the Hungarian senior Supermoto championship in 2020, while still in the early stages of his racing career.
He contested only one championship round in 2022 but delivered a perfect performance at that event. In 2023, he became a regular contender for the national title and finished runner-up in the overall standings.
The 2024 season marked another important step: Kardos secured the Hungarian championship title. The achievement recognised the experience he had built in domestic racing and provided a strong platform for international competition.
In 2025, he entered the premier S1GP class at the Hungarian Grand Prix in Visonta, and in 2026 he returned for the home round of the S4 European Championship. His number 164 was now appearing on the international stage as well as in Hungary.
This overview focuses on the major milestones confirmed in available sources. More detailed season-by-season results can be added to the career timeline when verified.
